About the Series
The Regional International Pro Trucks have been racing at Blackrock
Speedway in Dundee, NY for quite a few years now. In recent years,
some teams dedicated to the class have wanted to experience different
tracks , but with the rules in the Truck class and the rules for similar cars
at local venues being different, this made it hard.
The Idea behind this was to involve all the teams in the formation of the
series, and give us as a class the opportunity to tour local tracks without
having to worry about interfering with any points battles in other classes.
Also, this gives other tracks a chance to offer something different. These
trucks may have some of the same parts you would find in your everyday
race car, but are still unique in their body style and chassis configuration.
They are not street stocks, but yet they are not super stocks either.
They are fast and don't be surprised to see them racing door to door
and three wide.
