I have talked to a few people about some sort of "Awards Banquet"
sometimes just after the October race. I thought just an informal
gathering would be a great way for us to just kick back and relax, Have
a good time, and pass out some awards, If anyone has any ideas for it
just drop me a line. Creekside Racing has put up some end of year
awards , and there are a few other contingency awards to be given out.

I know the numbers didn't climb this season as we had hoped, But I still
feel in my opinion that the racing in this class has been some of the
best in recent years. Every one of you that has attended every single
race has put your heart and soul into helping make this a success.

My (racing)season has not gone the way I had hoped, but I'm still having
fun, frustrated at times, but still having fun. I am NOT giving up on this
class yet even though some of the statements I made in the last few
weeks may have left some thinking otherwise. I am already working on
things for next season. And I am hoping tracks that hosted races this
year will have us back. However, there is a catch. I need to have a
minimum of 13 trucks registered by Dec 31st. and ready to commit to a
full season. I dont think this number is out of line. There are still many
more than that out there, and I know several teams plan on building new
trucks. Which would make the overall truck count even higher as some
trucks would be for sale.

To new Prospects, The teams racing in this class have been some of
the best I have raced with in my short "career". A true group of guys that
respect each others equipment and each other. Its not too often you
look down in the pits and see and entire class pitted together and when
things go wrong, everyone springs into action. Guys like Bob Teed Sr.,
Louie Seeley, The Whites ( all of them) are some of the backbone of
this group.

I am working on schedules for next season already. I have been in touch
with several possible Sponsors and marketing partners that have been
keeping tabs on what goes on this year.

The rule book is going to be revised again, with no major changes in
the basic truck, but some "gray" areas are going to have some light put
on them . Areas involving safety are going to be addressed, and
enforced.I should have this complete before December so there will be
NO SURPRISES come springtime. We WILL have a series tech
inspector next year, who will work in conjunction with Track Officials. I
am still taking applications for this position. I will have a radio next
season to bring to the tracks that do not use the raceciever, so
communication is not an issue next season like it was a few time this
year.

Some things have slipped through the cracks this year. But this has
been a learning experience for me. Next season we will see rules being
enforced, ALL of them, which is one of the things I think is on the top of
everyones list. I am also going to make sure none of the mistakes that I
made this year will happen next season.

Again, I had a blast this year, and I know most of you have too.

Tracks, Teams, potential sponsors ,fans and anyone wishing to
volunteer some time next year please feel free to drop some input to
me at

THANK YOU AGAIN FOR EVERYONES SUPPORT

YES THIS MEANS YOU!
