Regional International Pro Trucks are ready to Invade Woodhull
Woodhull, NY

Race number two for the 2008 season is about to go in the books during the second annual
Memorial Day show at Woodhull Raceway in Woodhull, NY.
While Mother Nature has not been good to many Venues in the Northeast so far this season, the
long range outlook is for good weather all weekend.

Doug Buckley holds the point lead for the moment, Visiting the Signs Plus of Kanona Victory
Lane at Genesee Speedway, but veterans like
Chris Leroux, ( 2007 Woodhull Winner)and
Ralph Champion are sure to be hot on his heels looking for their first win of the season. Bill
Edmister (44) hopes to be able to make more than 1/3 a lap this year, and it looks as if his truck
will be flying around the track instead of over it. Chrsitian Thompson will have some competition
also in the BFR Fabrication Rookie of the Year race heats up with newcomers Mark Guinup
(52) and Jamie Freeman (8) making their debuts at the High Banks in a Pro Truck. “We really
tried to be ready for Genesee.” Stated Guinup earlier last week. “ We just flat ran out of hours to
work and get everyone’s cars and Trucks ready.”
Mike Warren is set to make it back to the track for the first time this season, after engine woes
forced him out of the first race, before it ever started.” The old Ford turned into a Dodge is just
what the doctor ordered to bring this truck back to life” said Warren.
This should also be a great race to see who will earn the Precision Move of the Race award,
sponsored by Precision Automotive of Elmira, NY. A member of the media selects the driver
who makes the best move of the race, it may be a late race pass for the win, or even a great
move to avoid a wreck, or something as sportsman like as keeping the green flag out after a
spin like Edmister did at Genesee. The recipient receives a $50.00 bonus.
 Series Photographer
D and J Fotos will be on the scene again also, Photos and more are
available through their website . with some luck, we will be updating the site as we can on
Monday, and are still working on the video feed for those who are to far to travel, say, Alaska
maybe. “The feed may not be great, but it should give you somewhat of an idea of whats going
on.” Stated Mike Warren series Director. “Some of us have family who live several states or
more away, and we are also looking into this for now as a test for future broadcasts. This would
impact our marketing as we would be able to offer more to not only out sponsors, but the tracks
we visit. The downside is it can be costly to set it up effectively, so we are taking it one step at a
time.”

Pit Gates open at 2:30 PM, Racing starts at 4:30 pm Sharp.  ALL Pro Truck drivers MUST sign
in with Mike Warren as quick as possible so we can have the line ups done in a timely fashion.
One Way Radios will be MANDATORY,  454.000 is the frequency.

As always, stay tuned to www.protrucktour.com for the latest updates.
