The
Regional International Truck Trailer and Bus Pro Truck Racing Series has
finally become a reality.

The Pro Trucks have run weekly at Blackrock Speedway in Dundee, NY for
over 6 years now, and a majority of the teams involved have gotten together to
create what we think should be a unique and fun show not only for race fans
around NY and PA, but for the teams as well.
Before this season, if a truck team wanted to venture out to new tracks, there
was a large concern over rules and what class they fit into. Now these teams
will have the opportunity to showcase their talent and learn new tracks that
some have never been to before.

A resurgence of teams building and or converting cars to trucks has helped
this class stay alive, coupled with Regional Internationals commitment to
support local dirt racing, We decided that this was an excellent time to get the
series rolling.

Regional has been with the Pro Trucks since their inception, As a class we
cannot think of a better way to give back to a sponsor that has supported us
through thick and thin, while at the same time work on building the class back
to its former strength of 20 plus trucks.

With full fiberglass( some panels can be made from aluminum) bodies, these
race trucks look like nothing else racing on dirt in this area. Coupled with the
adjust ability in the chassis, this makes for a great class for the novice that is
still learning vehicle setup, or the seasoned veteran that wants to be able to
tune his suspension.

I think the most exciting part of the series, is the commitment from all the teams
to help each other out as they can. Trying to bring a family type atmosphere
back to the race track makes for more fun, more respect for all of the teams
involved and hopefully the fans will see this through some great door to door
racing.

Be on the lookout for drivers like Doug Buckley, Chris Leroux, Ralph
Champion Jr., Mike and Jason White  just to name a few to be hunting for that
top spot this year, 2006 PT Champion Terry Povoski is slated to make some
appearances in the series also.

We would like to thank Jim Carello of
Regional International, Dean Hoag of
Blackrock Speedway, Vern Wasson of Woodhull Raceway, Barry Matthews
Sr. of
Redline Raceway, Dick Stark of Thunder Mountain Speedway, Mike
Lauterborn of
Genesee Speedway and Jack Deery of DIRT Motorsports for
hosting races in our inaugural season. We are currently working on other
dates and venues, but trying to take it one step at a time
Without the support and interest of these and many others this Series may not
have happened.

These trucks will also be in weekly competition on Friday nights at the
Blackrock Speedway in Dundee, NY, so if you cant make a show at one of the
series events, at least try to check them out at
BRS.

Series sponsorships are still available. With packages ranging from
contingency awards to event sponsorships. You can receive information on
these by emailing
