May 31, 2008 Redline Raceway to host round three of the Regional Pro Truck Tour.
Corning, NY- June is finally here and things are starting to get hot in the Regional
International Truck Trailer and Bus Pro Truck Series.
Two great finishes have put Ralph Champion Jr. at the top of the points standings. And based
on his performance last year at Redline this should be another good night for the #27
Champion Scrap Metals Chevrolet. Chris Leroux also ran strong there last year, but he was
unable to unseat eventual Series Champion Terry Povoski. From the top spot. Chris and the
#32 Money Management LTD Chevrolet had a rough start to the 2008 campaign, suffering a
broken axle in the first race, but has rebounded back to his old form and placed himself just 6
points out of the Championships points race.
Doug Buckley in the #2 Teed Chassis Dodge is looking to turn things around also after
having engine troubles at Woodull, the team has been hard at work to determine the failure
and repair it.
Redline Raceway is located just outside of Troy, PA and has a tight flat clay surface which
offers some great racing in all their classes. The Pro trucks join their weekly show this Friday,
June 6th on WTTC The Bridge Race Night to accent their regular card of 358 Modifieds,
IMCA Mods, Mini Stocks, Pure Stocks and FWD 4 cylinders.
